How to add audio and video to traditional knowledge and cultural narrative fields

While multiple media files can be included in a digital heritage item as media assets, you may need to directly embed images, or audio and/or video clips into a Traditional Knowledge, Cultural Narrative, or Description field.

To embed a media asset in one of these fields, open the digital heritage item edit screen, navigate to the Mukurtu Core tab to find the field in which the media will be embedded. Make sure that the selected Text Format for the field is ‘Filtered HTML’ or ‘Full HTML.’ Then open the media library on the right side of the screen. Locate the media file to be embedded, and drag and drop it into the the text field.

Save the digital heritage item to view your changes.

Note that the media preview may not properly render in the editing view, but it will display normally when viewing the digital heritage item.
