Customizing traditional knowledge (TK) labels

The TK Labels are an initiative for Indigenous communities. TK Labels allow communities to express local and specific conditions for content consistent with already existing community rules, governance and protocols for using, sharing, and circulating knowledge. 

Customized TK Label text can be included in Mukurtu CMS. To develop customized TK Labels, you will need to use the Local Contexts Hub which allows community control over customization and delivery to institutions, data repositories and other organizations.   

Note: Upcoming versions of Mukurtu will support closer integration with the Local Contexts Hub, use of the Local Contexts Hub will be required, and manual entry of customized TK Label text in Mukurtu sites will not be possible.
